How does PaperHorse work?
You enter your website URL. We infer your brand, industry, and the questions your customers typically ask AI. Then we run those prompts across ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews, Google AI Mode, Claude, Perplexity and Gemini and measure how often you appear, and how favorably.
How long does a report take?
About 90 seconds for the initial results. The full action plan takes a bit longer and is ready when you arrive at your report page.
Which AI engines do you test?
ChatGPT (OpenAI), Google AI Overviews (Google), Google AI Mode (Google), Claude (Anthropic), Perplexity, and Gemini (Google). These are the engines that currently drive the most AI-assisted buying research.
What does my report measure?
Your mention rate is the percentage of non-branded answers that name your brand. Non-branded questions describe what a customer needs without naming you, so this rate shows whether AI surfaces you on its own. The report also shows how often you are the top pick, your average position when recommended, your share of voice against competitors, and brand recall on questions that already name you.
Can I export my report?
Yes. PDF export is available on every PaperHorse plan. The PDF mirrors the web report exactly: your visibility snapshot, competitive breakdown, and action plan.
How do I improve my AI visibility?
Your report includes a prioritized action plan. Common improvements include adding structured content about your services, getting cited on authoritative directories and review platforms, and publishing content that directly answers the questions AI gets asked.
Is this the same as SEO?
